Wild Colorado Water & Country.

Guided fly-fishing trips and big-game hunts across the Front Range — tailwaters, drift-boat floats, and backcountry elk camps. We handle every detail. You show up ready.

The Outfit

One drift boat and a beat-up truck in 2009. Fifteen years on, still the same idea — put good people on wild fish and wild game, and make the whole thing easy.

We guide the water we grew up on. The South Platte tailwaters below Cheesman and Eleven Mile, the Arkansas River through the canyon, the high creeks tucked into Pike National Forest — Cody and our team have fished and hunted this country for decades. We know which run holds fish when the flows come up, and which dark-timber bench the elk move through at first light in October.

Everything is included so you don't have to think about logistics. Rods, reels, waders, flies, and terminal tackle on every fishing trip. Camp, meals, field care, and pack-out on every hunt. We help with your Colorado license and your draw strategy. You bring yourself and a willingness to get after it — we handle the rest.

What Our Anglers & Hunters Say

4,800+ trips run across the Front Range. Here's what a few of our clients had to say.

★★★★★

"Booked a full-day float on the Arkansas with Dale and it was the best day of fishing I've ever had. He had us on fish from the first run, lunch on a gravel bar, and a 20-inch brown to end the day. Already rebooked for next year."

"First elk hunt and Rampart made it happen. Marisol called a bull in to 40 yards on day three and walked me through the whole thing. Camp was comfortable, food was great, and they packed it all out. Cannot recommend them enough."

Frequently Asked

Licenses, gear, beginners, cancellations — the essentials.

Do I need a Colorado fishing or hunting license?
Yes — every angler needs a valid Colorado fishing license and every hunter needs the appropriate tag. We make it easy: we'll walk you through buying a fishing license (it takes minutes online) and help hunters with draw applications, points strategy, and OTC tags well ahead of your trip.
Do you provide gear, or should I bring my own?
Everything for fishing is included — rods, reels, waders, boots, flies, and terminal tackle, all in good condition and sized to you. Hunters get camp, meals, field care, and pack-out included; you bring your own weapon and personal kit, and we'll send a full packing list. Bring your own rod if you prefer — many of our clients do.
What should I bring?
For fishing: a valid license, layered clothing, sunglasses (polarized helps), sunscreen, a hat, and water — we provide the rest. For hunts: your weapon, broadhead or ammo, boots you've broken in, weather-appropriate layers, and your tag. We send a detailed packing list once you book so nothing gets forgotten.
I've never fly fished — are beginners welcome?
Absolutely — beginners and families are some of our favorite trips. Our guides teach casting, knots, and how to read water on gentle, fish-friendly stretches. Most first-timers are catching trout by midday. Book the Beginner & Family trip and we'll handle the rest.
What's your cancellation and weather policy?
Trips cancelled by you with 14+ days' notice receive a full refund of your deposit; inside 14 days the deposit can be applied to a rebooked date. We fish and hunt in most weather, but if conditions are genuinely unsafe we'll reschedule at no charge. Colorado weather changes fast — flexibility is part of the deal.
How many people per guide or boat?
We keep groups small. Drift-boat float trips are two anglers per boat with a guide on the oars. Wade trips run one or two anglers per guide. Hunt camps are kept intentionally small so every hunter gets real one-on-one guiding. Larger groups are no problem — we just add boats and guides.
